My mom was nominated for Educator of the year through the Mesa Association of Hispanic Citizens (MAHC) and won! She received the award during the Latino Town Hall conference. A video was played of all the recipients of several awards...I almost cried when mom's played. I'm so proud of her!
It was great that My Tio Kenny and members of his family were able to join us in this celebration.
