Trip to Idaho

The second night we went bowling and had a blast! Jeremy is very good!!!

Jeremy, Dan, Jeff, and Jeff's girlfriend Kristine

This one resting place that we stopped off at while on our way up to the cabin.

The mountain is called Abe's Chair

This is the cabin we stayed at...very beautiful and all hand made out of wood

I sat on this swing many times and just enjoyed the scenery

This lake is still somewhat frozen on the bottom and extremely cold

The guys were brave enough to rent a boat and try out the waters...

I stayed on land were I know I'm safe :)

This is one of the scenes driving back to the cabin. I had lunch in Stanley, which is about 21 miles from the cabin and then took my time driving back.

When I got back to the cabin I sat out on the top deck and read my book. It was so peaceful hearing the creek across the way, looking up to see snow on the mountains, and having a light breeze brush my face. I stayed out there reading for hours till the guys got home. I even finished my book the next day.

I did have a friend stop by and visit...lol This guy was one step away from me...he came out from under the steps, crawled up the side until he was close enough, looked at me, and then ran away. It was kind of cute!

Trip to Idaho Cont.

This was the view from the top deck of Jeff's family cabin. The whole area is very beautiful!

Right to Left: Jeremy, Moni, and Jeff

Jeremy and Dan grilling hamburgers

I dared myself to cross over to the other side...I made it without falling in the water or getting my feet wet :)

This is what I saw when I reached the middle of the log

Dan, Jeremy, and Jeff
We took food for a picnic and I had the most wonderful sandwhich with spinach and artichoke hearts

Jeremy and Dan playing checkers...Dan is hiding his arm because there were mosquitos

Here and there were some patches of snow and Jeff and I had a snow ball fight. Without aiming I got him in the mouth lol We also used the snow to keep our drinks cold.

We suspect this was some kind of sheep maybe that we found on the side of the road

Although I flew ino Boise, ID Jeff lives in Eagle...beautiful area. Hope everyone is enjoying their summer vacation and I can't wait to share more pictures with you!
