Back Full Time

Somtimes I don't know what I'm thinking going back to school full time, but other times I think how close I am to graduating. I've offically started my block classes for the Early Childhood Education ITC program. I'm taking 14 credit hours which includes two internet classes. I have mixed feelings about taking an online class...it's the first time I have and I do miss the interaction with other students in the classroom. It requires a lot of reading, not that any of my other classes don't, but all in all it's just very different for me. I start my field experience on the fourth at Roosevelt Elementary in a PreK class. Looking forward to that...kind of miss working with the little ones.

I finally broke down and bought a parking pass for ASU for a grand total of $240 for lot 59N...the cheapest and furthest one away. A lot of changes for me this semester...now I take a bus to get to the other side of campus and I hate buses. Ok it's more of a phobia of buses. The first time I got on the bus I started twitching and got a little motion sick.

After speaking with my advisor I found out that there is a high chance I might be able to do my student teaching in Costa Rica (that's during the fourth block, which is my last semester). One problem: I have to take three classes that semester, two are offered online already, but one isn't. They are working on getting it set up for online but I don't know if it'll be done in time. I would have to get permision to take it next summer if it's not finished for an online course. Was kind of bumbed when I found that out but at least that means that I'll be in the valley next spring. That also means that I can still give Blue his Blue's Clues birthday party for turning 10 years old. :)

Speaking of birthdays...I know it's still along ways away, but I thought I'd give everyone a chance to save some money. I've decided for my 25th birthday (May of 2008) I want to celebrate in Chicago. I'm hoping my family living here will join me and some of my friends. Let me know if you're interested or have any other suggestions.

Well gotta run. Books are calling my name and I need to spend some time with Blue before my class today. Hope everyone is doing well.

Take care!
