On The Road

This year for my birthday I decided I wanted to go to Disneyland so right after work on Thursday I headed out to Imperial Beach where Christina and Kevin live. My friend Joe flew out Friday night and Saturday we spent all day at Disneyland and California Adventures. Mia (Caramia) was so shocked when she saw me walk through the door.

That night I slept in Mia's bed and Haleigh woke up crying so I picked her up, grabbed her bottle, and sat in the rocking chair and sang to her. She was out in no time...I think she didn't like my singing lol You all know that I am short...well I couldn't reach to put her back into the crib so she slept with me on Mia's bed. lol :)

After a day out on the beach I was taking a nap when Christina said, "Here have a baby" and Haleigh came plop into my arms

I won't say I was driving when I took this picture, but I will say that I was at a stop light :)


I felt so bad for Christina because she had to work grave yard the night before...she came home at 4 in the morning and we left at 5:30

The first ride they got me on was Space Mountain...I screamed my lungs and vocal chords off lol Christina said her and Kevin could hear me from the back. Jonathan walked away with a crushed hand and a bite mark on his sweater :)

We went to New Orleans Town and of course I had to stop to listen to this jazz band play.
What a treat for me after taking Jazz in America this last semester at ASU!!

Jenny tried to sanitized her cell phone with baby whips because Joe stuck it down his shirt to keep it from getting wet.


While Christina, Kevin, Jenny, Joe, and Jonathan were on the Grizzley Bear ride, we watched this group play. They guy playing the spoons was very funny!


Mia got to play along with them even though she wouldn't stand up in the front with the other kids lol

This is the beach in Imperial Beach that Christina and Kevin live two blocks from...we were her on Friday and also Jenny and I walked along it on Sunday collecting seashells for mom.

I had so much fun this weekend!!!!

Can't wait to start my Idaho trip now and share picstures with you all again. This summer is a jam packed one but it will be fun! Hope everyone is doing great and take care!!
