Happy Birthday Mom!!

Ok so I know I probably shouldn't have done this...but... on Thursday April 12th...I kind of sort of...I'm going to say barrowed my mom's keys to her classroom...and well....with the help of family and friends we decorated my mom's classroom :)

This was just the start and the scary thing is that I didn't have to tell anyone what to do.

If you remember that day, it was very windy...the balloons got all tangled up while I was trying to get them into my car. My back seat was full and I felt like I was driving a clown car. Thankfully Amy and my cousin Andrea were able to have enough patience to untangle them.

Tio Kenny and Aurora
I had everyone write on the boards and Aurora put "she made me do it" lol

Even my cousin Elizabeth managed to get her friend Marisa to help out. At the last minute I also dragged my friend David to help. David and Mike decided that they would be in charge of the streamers hanging from the ceiling since they were the tallest.

Even mom's chair didn't excape the rath of the streamers :)

And at the end...the silly string that was supposed to go on the desks ended up on me.

After all the fun and work we managed to get in and out in an hour and a half. I wrote on the board, "Happy Birthday! I love you...Please don't kill me...Can I still live in your house?"

Since Dan showed up late, for a good reason, I took this picture so I could say that he was there :)

I also have to thank my next door neighbor for letting me hide the balloons in her garage until it was time to meet at the school. I was afraid that mom would see them in my car when she got home. I've learned that my car can hold up to 25 balloons, ten rolls of streamers, 12 small chineese lanterns, two table topers, 6 cans of silly string, and two tubes of confetti.

Mom was very surprised and I heard from the teacher next door that she screamed when she walked into the room. Mission: decorate mom's classroom Status: successful :)

Happy Easter 2007!

Mom and I made this Easter Bunny Cottage to raffle off on Easter. The proceeds went to American Cancer Society's Relay For Life that I will be participating in on April 27th and 28th. In just less than four hours we managed to raise $70. I donated it in loving memory of our Tata, Jose L. Morales.

Kickin The Year Off

This was at our Exect Team State Board Retreat
We were supposed to meet at Mesa's clubhouse but when we arrived we found out that it had been booked for a wedding. Thinking very fast Brian Birks decided to open up his house to us for the weekend. We made sure we cooked his wife breakfast saturday morning :)

Friday night at the End of the Year convention in Yuma a memeber from each chapter was given some playdough in which they had to create a trohpy that would later be judged. Of course I made mine with Dale Jr. on it :) I even took the time to make roses at the bottom. Oh and don't tell anyone, but there's a small apple juice can in the middle of the trophy lol :)

This was also at convention where I recieved an award for Jaycee of the quarter. I was surprised and also thankful. Amy Buchman is standing next me. I sometimes work in her store in Scottsdale.

Some of us were able to take a picture at this event with our National President Chris Olham who is from Arizona.
