News Flash

Well I sure surprised most of you with chopping off my hair. It's taking some getting used to, but little by little I am starting to get used to it. Of course I've realized all the habbits I had with my long hair; like pulling on it behind my back while talking on the phone.

This past weekend the Jaycees helped with a Healthy Kids Expo that was held at MCC. Overall it was a great success! Would you believe that I attempted to rock climb?

I think Kimee is better than me

Phil and I have joined teams and are now going to be working on a slide show together, and also taking pictures of Jaycees events that are to come.

School is going good, but I'm glad the semester is almost over with. I know it doesn't seem like alot to some of you (going to school full time), but you have to understand that last spring I had 17 credit hours, went to summer school both sessions, was full time in the fall, and now full time this spring. Let's not forget the extra curricular activities too. I am worn out! I've decided to take the summer off and recharge my battery.

In case some of you might be wondering, although it's not anytime soon...I'll be in California for my b-day. I'm going to Disneyland! I'll be there for a weekend and then come back in time to pack and go to Idaho with two of my friends to see our buddy Jeff. It should be a fun trip.

Oh yeah, and I've decided to try (key word try) to loose some weight. You know, when some of my students come up to me and rub my stomach and say, "baby" it just somehow doesn't settle well with me. LOL

I hope everyone is doing good and please remember to keep in touch!

Love Always,
Monica

Guess What I Did :)

Okay so origionally I was supposed to wait till the last day of March, then it was the beginning of June. Well...I decided it was now or never. After only having my hair trimmed for over two years I finally cut my hair. I was so nervious that I told the lady to cut quick.

For Lii, may this be enough to make you a beautiful head of hair!

Hope you all are doing great,
Monica
