Busy Friday

Friday was a very busy day for us. I took off of school and went to see the Latino club perform in the cultural assembly at Westwood High School. I had been teaching some of them tango, salsa, and merengue. They were awesome! I was and still am so very proud of them all. Since I had the time and was there, I taught some dance steps to my mom's fifth hour class. I did this last year when they were doing a dance unit, but since this year I am not able to because of work and school, we decided it was the perfect time to at least teach some. The kids were great and some of them have had dance lessons before.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY BLUE!!
Friday was also Blue's 8th birthday, but unfortunately we weren't able to celebrate because he is sick. Dad still wanted to go to McDonald's and get him ice cream. He would have been the one to stay up with Blue all night if that would've happened.

Hope everyone is enjoying their weekend so far,

Moni

Ciao Monica

I finally had some time to check out your blog. I guess I'm just too busy enjoying Italy.
You sound like you are doing great. Your site is a pleasure to read. I like the part about the angels, although I don't beleive, what a great way to look at people.
Happy to hear you are enjoying ASU, I enjoyed my time there. I always say that if I ever win the lottery I will go to school full time and study everthing. University was some of the best time of my life and I didn't graduate until I was 50.
Why the Scottsdale Jaycees? Why not Mesa?

Thanks for your kind words about Rosemary's journal loss. She is still upset about is but getting better. We went back to the site and hung a reward sign, in Italian, but have little hope of ever seeing them again.

We are still enjoying almost everything about Italy. The past two days have had very bad weather. If I knew what a hurricane looked like I swear we have been in one for two days. It is raining so hard and the wind so strong that water is coming in the kitchen wall exhaust fan and flooding the counters and we live on the third floor.

Hope you stay well. Say Hi! to you Mom for me.

Love Bob
